@divegeester saidThose are not at all the same.
Same principle with doves coming out of heaven, Jesus praying to the father etc.
I don’t need to invent a “trinity” to explain something which is written literally hundreds of times in the bible, God is ONE. Truth is it’s own reward as long as we recognise the highest principle. I.e. God is ONE entity irrespective of doves and prayers.
Same with predestination and free choice; we don’t need to choose between one or the other just accept that both are there.
But I’m glad to see you’re capitalizing God now.
@divegeester saidIt is your responsibility.
I can’t and anyway not my responsibility to explain it to you. Figure it out yourself.
I am simply stating the undisputed fact that both are comprehensively supported in the text.
That is my position.
You made a statement - back it up.
The minute I brought up that verse from 2 Peter, you started waffling and now you’re using the cop out that it’s all a mystery.
You should have started with the mystery explanation first instead of waffling into it.
@divegeester saidWell I’m sorry you’re offended at having your feet held to the fire.
Shove it sunshine. You’re living on credit, don’t spend it all at once.
@pb1022 saidI’ve posted several scriptures to support one, and I’ll use the one you presented to support the other.
It is your responsibility.
You made a statement - back it up.
@divegeester saidYou need to supply two more for the other view so the Scripture count is equal.
I’ve posted several scriptures to support one, and I’ll use the one you presented to support the other.

@divegeester saidHow am I being a dick? Is this not how you routinely behave toward sonship and KellyJay?
Are you going to be a dick again?
@divegeester saidYou made the unsupported assertion. You’re the one who needs to make a case, not me.
What’s not?
Make a case.
@pb1022 saidNo I didn’t.
You made the unsupported assertion. You’re the one who needs to make a case, not me.
@divegeester saidYou’re using my Scripture. You should use your own.
No I don’t.
One scripture was good enough for you to make your case, so it’s good enough for me to use also.
Next.
