Thankfully I believe in humanity and our advancement in science and intellectual growth.
I suspect, in 2235, belief in God or gods will be seen as a curious and rather quaint thing from the past. (A bit like paper money and velcro).

@ghost-of-a-duke saidYeah a fanatical belief in God which sees people as being hopelessly evil, does hinder the progress of humanity. There are many who do not share that view.

But as long as he is around, the world will at best continue on with the bad we see but he is getting desperate because of him knowing he only has a short time left before he is abyssed. He is refereed to as a lion in the Bible, so he is acting like one that is getting cornered.
Hopefully that will be taken care of by the intellectual growth. But who knows, maybe hate will always be around.

@galveston75 saidNo, I don't personify evil. There are some negative traits that are integral (unfortunately) to the human condition, greed, hate etc. I hope we will evolve out of these, but that isn't a given.
