I have a Bachelor's Degree in Theology. Biblical Studies was my Major. What do you think? I find your questions arrogant and condescending.
sonship doesn't really have any other way to deal with a poster like you.
You are obviously not a devotee of Witness Lee.
sonship once declared that, when the "end times" are upon us, Christians who are not members of sonship's cultish Local Churches movement, will need - if they are to have hope of being "saved" - to run out and but and read Witness Lee's books.
That is how sonship sees a Christian like you through his Witness Lee prism.
That is why he almost invariably condescends his fellow Christians here.
@FMF
What "What" ?
I've seen the "Me No Speak English" routine before.
"Me No Speak English" and some gaslighting - "Whatever is wrong with you? I am so perfect you see ??"
You're suspicious.
Most talk of God here you take as personal agenda to do you in.
Skeptics of your brand have been dissing believers in the Bible for centuries now. You're more than a dime a dozen. Maybe a dime every three or four dozen.
The faith still lives and is growing among many on all the continents.
@FMF
Out comes the cult of personality card and the "Thou Shalt Not Be Influenced" commandment of FMF.
Lee has been gone now since 1997. The spread of the Lord's recovery on the major continents where people seek the truth has to now be blamed on somebody else.
The local churches certainly didn't fold when Witness Lee passed on.
I provided quotes from other writers above, just as succinct, faithful to the Gospel,
and clear.
Play up your "cult of personality" card real strong now.
It jsut might envoke some emotional sympathy from any "Watch out for Group Think" types
here.
Oh, KingDavid403, you hve some good atheist cheerleaders ready to stand with you.
They're hoping youll be their man here.
Ghost of a Duke and FMF have their pom poms flaying rooting you on.
"KingDavid, KingDavid, he's our man. If he can't do it nobody can."
So debunk me real good, give them a warm fuzzy.
@sonship saidYou are mistaken. ALL "talk of God here" is about the ideologies that fellow posters espouse.
Most talk of God here you take as personal agenda to do you in.
A poster's ideology cannot "do [me] in".
And if those ideologies are, in fact, fellow posters' "personal agendas", I am OK with that.
My "personal agenda" here is to enjoy my hobby, or one of them, which is to talk about things like morality, the nature of faith, and the human condition generally from a more spiritual point of view rather than current affairs.
@sonship saidWell, if it's a case of me being "a dime every three or four dozen" to you, then, all I can say is, I have much more more respect for you than you evidently have for me.
Skeptics of your brand have been dissing believers in the Bible for centuries now. You're more than a dime a dozen. Maybe a dime every three or four dozen.
@sonship saidThen promote it, don't mind me.
Lee has been gone now since 1997. The spread of the Lord's recovery on the major continents where people seek the truth has to now be blamed on somebody else.
My comment was addressed to KingDavid403.
He said he found your questions arrogant and condescending.
So I offered him my ha'penny's worth as to why you might be interacting with him like that.
@sonship saidQuite a lot of your demeanour and behaviour here, especially when you are facing dissent or people unimpressed by you, your ideas and your manner, well... it comes across a bit like that of a cult member.
Play up your "cult of personality" card real strong now.
You can dismiss this as a "card" I am "playing" if you want to. But that doesn't actually deal with the substance of the perspective. And, of course, you don't have to deal with it if you don't want to.
@kingdavid403 saidGood luck with that ... bit of tough ask with sonship, I'd say.
When you answer my questions, I'll answer yours; and, not until then. For some reason you think you're gonna control our conversations, not gonna happen.
Note that I have put this to sonship about half a dozen times over the last 2 years...
sonship once declared that, when the "end times" are upon us, Christians who are not members of sonship's cultish Local Churches movement, will need - if they are to have hope of being "saved" - to run out and but and read Witness Lee's books.
...and he has never once denied it.
@sonship saidOh, KingDavid403, you hve some good atheist cheerleaders ready to stand with you. Ghost of a Duke and FMF have their pom poms flaying rooting you on. lol... Do they have those sexy, short skirt, cheerleader outfits on? If so, I'm in.
Oh, KingDavid403, you hve some good atheist cheerleaders ready to stand with you.

Ghost of a Duke and FMF have their pom poms flaying rooting you on.
"KingDavid, KingDavid, he's our man. If he can't do it nobody can."
So debunk me real good, give them a warm fuzzy.
"KingDavid, KingDavid, he's our man. If he can't do it nobody can." Well, thank you Son. lol... Do what? may I ask?
So debunk me real good, give them a warm fuzzy.
Do what? Where have I tried to debunk you Son?
Are you drinking to much tonight? You're misspelling your words more than usual; and, acting a little weird.
Ghost of a Duke and FMF are two intelligent people that I like; and, I enjoy having conversations with. They are children of God as you and I. It does not bother me that they are atheist's. With the way most supposed Christians act today, I do not blame them; and, I can understand why. So does Jesus. They both know the Bible well; as well as you or I. The rest is on them and God. Rest assured, they are not cheering me on; as they both could debunk you themselves at anytime. They're actually being fairly nice to you, considering.
@kingdavid403 saidThanks. But on a side note, "the way most supposed Christians act today" is not the reason I am an agnostic atheist. I understand what you meant by what you said.

But, just for the record, there have always been self-identifying Christians like Donal Trump, sonship, Benny Hinn, Eladar, SecondSon/josephw, Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker, Romans1009 and Mother Teresa, but their various kinds of behaviour have nothing to do with my loss of faith.
@fmf saidI understand. Do you got your pom poms ready for me? 😉 I'm getting ready for the big debunk, I guess. Feel free to message me anytime fmf, if you wish.
Thanks. But on a side note, "the way most supposed Christians act today" is not the reason I am an agnostic atheist. I understand what you meant by what you said.

@sonship saidOf course it is consequential. When is specialized knowledge on a topic ever of no consequence, especially when received by academics who know the topic far better than you ever will?
@KingDavid403
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Theology. Biblical Studies was my Major. What do you think? I find your questions arrogant and condescending.
Relax. I'll take that as a yes, of course you have at least READ Revelation 14.
With your degree you also got to know God some then, I mean, either before or after ? I mean ...[text shortened]...
No disrespecting your training of education.
I am just considering is it consequential here.
