@kellyjay saidThe true Gospel of Christ is not a one liner or two like how you constantly quote
I shared scripture for what I believe and I have talked about why. You are vague about what you consider the gospel, because you consistently avoid pointing to direct scripture references. You waffle on responding to simple requests for clarification as who Jesus is according to you. You are good about dishing out insults that seems to be the only thing you are consistent ab ...[text shortened]... He is according to you. Why is the Gospel only valid in the hidden scripture you refuse to identify.
- saved by grace
- free gift of eternal life.
and a few references.
The Gospel of Christ like I told you many times and quoted from it is about the righteousness and good works that Jesus preached in Matthew, especiallyl the Sermon on the Mount.
What you preach is NOT the Gospel of Christ, neither is it the gospel of Paul. That is your church gospel. If you really do not know what the Gospel of Christ is then you are a liar just like sonship.. That is typical of church people .. they lack moral fortitude and integrity.
@sonship saidI got you backed up against a wall like a trapped animal... you are preaching a false gospel claiming that it is the gospel of Christ.
@Rajk999
Why not just admit the truth. There are none
I am serious. Bible references will not help you.
Its evident that you don't care what it says.
And you're not going to take what it says.
Produce the references where Jesus said that eternal life is a free gift.
@rajk999 saidI don't care about your one-liners or personal opinion, or anyone else' for that matter! If anyone starts making Biblical claims concerning truths from scripture, they better be able to back it up with scripture; if all you have is a feeling, that is not enough. I'm not looking for a one-liner; I want the text that shows everyone what you are talking about has to do with what is written in the Bible; otherwise, the source is you and only you.

And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

You are just posturing.
References I site you will not take.
They will be met with name calling as a reaction of desperation.
The one behaving like a trapped animal is Rajk999, meeting reasonable discussion of plain texts with a fury of name calling and anathemas.
You think no one notices?

FROM THE TEACHINGS OF CHRIST.
All of your gospel is from the gospel of Paul.
Thats fine .. nothing to be ashamed about, because Paul preached the very same Gospel of Christ ... its just that you do not preach the whole thing Paul preached
So the next question to you and KJ is Do you preach the whole gospel of Paul or do you omit the parts you dont like/
I can demonstrate you you cut off the parts you do not like
@rajk999 saidWhen are you going to start producing the text you refer to for the gospel of Jesus Christ that does not line up with all of the other scriptures in the Bible?
You got nothing. So Jesus Christ did not preach the gospel you preach. And you cannot produce a reference for

The Gospel is the good news about the Kingdom of God; it is about Jesus Christ coming into the world to save sinners of their sins before a Holy God. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the story of Jesus Christ, all that He said, did, and who He always was, is, and forever will be.
Mark 1
English Standard Version
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
As it is written in Isaiah the prophet,
“Behold, I send my messenger before your face,
who will prepare your way,
the voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight,’”
John appeared, baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. And all the country of Judea and all Jerusalem were going out to him and were being baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins. Now John was clothed with camel's hair and wore a leather belt around his waist and ate locusts and wild honey. And he preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and untie. I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, “You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”
Mark 1:13-15
English Standard Version
And he was in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to him.
Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
The Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe, no mention of working your way into the Kingdom it is repent and believe.
Acts 15:7
And after there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.
What was it that Peter told them, to repent, believe, he spoke about Jesus what God has done opening the door for Gentiles too.
1 Corinthians 1:17
For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with words of eloquent wisdom, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.
The power resides in the cross of Christ, what He has done for us, not what we earn by trying to be good enough, none of us are good enough.
The Gospel is the good news about the Kingdom of God, Jesus entering the world for us, dying on that cross, and rising from the dead so we could be forgiven. Not so we could work to enter into the Kingdom; we cannot be made righteous on our own, but through Christ, because of what He did, not what we do. We will in Him do good works, but we not be able to earn God's grace; there are not enough good works to be done for that; it's a gift or its payment for work done.

This is good for individual salvation. This is excellent from our perspective of needing to be saved, forgiven, etc.
Then there is the viewpoint from God's eternal purpose perspective. He does all these things to build a corporate expression of God in man - the church and ultimately the New Jerusalem.
It is all for something higher and deeper than just individual salvation and blessing is what I often raise here on the Forum. Beyond our individual need to be blessed, saved, redeemed, washed from our sins there is the dispensing of the Triune God into His people that they may become a corporate expression of the Son in a eternal city we are all growing INTO - New Jerusalem.
