John 10: 17-18 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Imply...what does the scripture say?

Still wriggling. I always know when you sectarian types are on the ropes when the answer is smothered in qualification and obfuscation .
Can you please tell me; is it possible to be filled with the spirit of Christ and reject a clear and fully informed understanding of your version of the trinity?
It's a yes or no answer sonship.

Bump for sonship...
I consider this question about the assurance of salvation more than about teaching of the three-oneness of God's nature.

It's really very straightforward:
Does rejection of your version/teaching of the trinity godhead preclude someone from being Christ spirit filled and therefore saved (accordion to your previous definition)?
It either does or it doesn't.

It says what is written, and you dismissing Jesus is God is the only thing it contradicts.
Jesus had a guarantee from his reading of scripture that God would raise him from the dead IF he remained sinless and obeyed even to death.
So in a sense it was in Jesus hands or control to be raised from the dead, but conditional.
That is why he says he can lay down his life and take it back again.
Can I say it any more simply? God is still the one who raised him from the dead, not Jesus himself.

What I read was quite clear, that it goes against something you believe is not my problem.
The scripture Is clear you introducing this, I know what it says, but this is what he meant
isn't healthy.
