This is just one verse. There are others like it.
He seems to clearly be talking about going to a literal heaven.
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least str ...[text shortened]... :29-33)
How do you make sense of the idea that there is no heaven in the face of these texts?
I said that people don't go there. The Kingdom of God is another place. Nobody is certain but I would put my money on a place called the New Jerusalem.

First of all the Bible never said anything about anyone getting into heaven. Neither did I. This heaven going nonsense is just another one of your false church doctrines that you swallow.
Christ preached good works, and those who practice it will enter the Kingdom of God.
You will find nowhere that Christ spoke of any of these issues which you thin ...[text shortened]... sensical garbage questions and issues designed to avoid doing good works and living righteously.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
What do you think “saved” refers to in Romans 10:9?
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
<Christ preached good works, and those who practice it will enter the Kingdom of God.>
Christ preached believing on Him and seeking the Kingdom of God. Good works are a manifestation of the indwelt Holy Spirit working to change a believer’s heart and mind, and, consequently, his or her actions.
<- doing good works on their own strength - NOTHING
- peoples good works are filthy rags - NOTHING>
You’re not familiar with Isaiah and Ephesians?
<- how many good works - NOTHING>
That’s my point! A just God would not set good works as the criteria for getting into heaven without specifying how many good works are needed.
<Plus all the others.. all nonsensical garbage questions and issues designed to avoid doing good works and living righteously.>
Not at all. One who is in God’s Word on a frequent and regular basis and praying with a sincere and contrite heart on a frequent and regular basis will do good works as easily as breathing because he or she will be led by God’s indwelt Holy Spirit.
Your problem seems to be that you either don’t understand believers have God’s Holy Spirit indwelling them or you don’t understand the power of God’s Holy Spirit.

So many atheists and even Christians foolishly think they become righteous through their own efforts. It’s so silly!
Get and stay in God’s Word and in sincere prayer and let the indwelt Holy Spirit do His work! Stop trying to be righteous by your own efforts...can’t be done!

Be careful. You might end up on the left side.
You don’t seem to understand that it is God’s Holy Spirit working in and through a Christian that makes the Christian righteous; not the Christian’s own effort.
That is why staying in God’s Word and prayer is so important - to be led by God’s Holy Spirit, you’ve got to be in tune and in sync with God’s Holy Spirit.

Sheep don't take advice from goats.
And how is reading God’s Word on a frequent and regular basis and regularly praying with a sincere and contrite heart not good advice?

Good grief, brother. Your ego and pride appear to be genuine stumbling blocks in your faith journey.
