@no1marauder saidThey can video themselves praying but an image of Muhammed is forbidden?
People make videos of everything these days; I bet you can find thousands of them with people praying on TikTok, YouTube, etc. etc. etc.

@kilroy70 saidI'm a Non-Dualist and find all the Abrahamic religions to be somewhat silly superstitions, but I wouldn't interrupt and insult people of those faiths when they were praying. And any teacher of any religious or nonreligious belief who does should be fired as this one was.
I'm assuming the girl who said they had permission wasn't lying. If so, then who gave them permission to use the Christian woman's office?
And I really don't care if it was technically "an office" or not, so don't expect me to follow you down that rabbit hole. I have no (zero) interest in your political/anti-christian beliefs.

Ah, I know... such as, who gave those girls permission to use the teachers room?
If you don't know or would rather not say, then just pretend I didn't ask.

@kilroy70 saidI don't know because none of the articles mentioned it.

That's probably because it's irrelevant to why she was fired.

@no1marauder saidIt may be irrelevant to why she was fired, but it most certainly is relevant as to why those girls were there.

Either two other teachers gave them tacit permission to be there (as one of the girls stated) or the girl was lying about getting permission from anyone.
"To clear up, we asked two teachers if we can go pray and they allowed us into the room that we were in."
It appears no one (including yourself) is interested in knowing all of the facts and circumstances that led to the conflict.
@no1marauder saidman aint you the shyt

@kilroy70 saidIt's difficult to believe this all happened as the result of unfortunate coincidence.

Two unamed (and presumably unknown) teachers just happened to encounter a group of Muslim teenagers, and gave those teenagers permission to use a room they had no business allowing them to use. This same room just happened to be assigned to some other (known) Christian teacher who objects to those teenagers being there.
Coincidence or not, Franklin Academy should bear at least some of the responsibility for what happened.
Seriously, how hard is it to not only assign time slots for teachers (or students) to occupy a room, but actually post a list of those time slots on or near the door of the room?
I thought this was standard practice.

@kilroy70 saidSure for idle curiosity purposes it might be interesting. But I've continued to Google something like "Pembrook Pines Muslim prayer incident" for the last few days and haven't found any story that has addressed this irrelevant detail.
