I have to come back to this -

And out of the throne come forth lightnings and voices and thunders. and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. (Rev. 4:4)

The Seven Spirits of God is signified by the seven lamps of fire. And we will see in chapter 5 that the Seven Spirit of God pickup something. They pick up the incarnated Redeemer - Christ. Then the Seven Spirits become the seven eyes of the Lamb.

Stop and consider. The seven lamps of fire which are the Seven Spirit of God in chapter 4 become the seven eyes of the Lamb (Christ) in chapter 5.

This speaks of the incarnation of God as the Redeemer Christ - the Lamb.
The Spirit of God become the eyes of the Redeemer Godman.

I know this is a little hard. Watch the two verses together to grasp the progression.

1.) "and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God." (Rev. 4:4)

2.) "And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures and in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing as having just been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. " (Rev. 5:6)

In chapter 4 you have the Spirit of God seen as lamps before the throne of the Creator. In the next chapter 5 the Spirit of God become the EYES of the slain and standing Lamb of God.

This standing Lamb who has just been slain is the slain and resurrected Christ, the Son of God. His eyes are the eternal Spirit of God. The Lord is the Spirit. The Spirit sent forth into the earth is to bring them the Redeemer and His redemption. And it is for the building of the temple of God.

Here we can see the Triune God dispensing Himself into His chosen and redeemed people for the purpose of history, the building up of the New Jerusalem as the habitation of God in spirit.

How meaningful this last book Revelation is to the whole meaning of the universe.

"You are worthy our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, for You have created all things, and because of Your will the were, and were created." (4:11)

Creation is for the dispensing of the Triune God, the incarnated and slain and resurrected God-man into His people for the building of the living dwelling place of God in man on the earth.

Please read Zechariah 4.

It is only 14 verses. But especially prayerfully consider -

Then the angel who spoke with me returned and roused me as a man is roused from his sleep.

And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I see that there is a lampstand all of gold, with its bowl on top of it and its seven lamps upon it, with seven pipes for each of the lamps on top of it; (Zech. 4:1,2)
...
And I answered and spoke to the angel who spoke with me, saying, What are these, sir?

And the angel who spoke with me answered and said to me, Do you not know what these are? and I said, No sir.

And he answered and spoke to me, saying. This is the word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying, not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit , says Jehovah of hosts.

Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain, and he will bring forth the topstone with shouts of Grace, grace to it!

Moreover the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,

The hands of Zerubabbel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will finish it; and you will know that Jehovah of hosts has sent Me to you.

For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel; they are the eyes of Jehovah running to and fro on the whole earth." (vs. 4-10)

This should help us to understand that in Revelation the Seven Spirits of God are related to rebuilding the house of God. This is task only God's might can accomplish. Only God by His great grace can accomplish the removing of all obstacles to His purpose to have a building - a temple of God.

It is not by man's power - natural or religious or otherwise. It is by the Spirit of God which is sent forth into all the earth to accomplish His plan. No mountain of obstacles can stop His purpose.

It helps me to see the eyes of Jehovah verses lined up together.

"For the eyes of Jehovah run to and fro throughout all the earth to strengthen those whose heart is perfect toward Him. (2 Chron. 15:9a)

" ... For these seven rejoice when they see the plummet in the had of Zerubbabel; they are the eyes of Jehovah running to and fro on the whole earth." (Zech 4:10b)

"And I saw ... a Lamb standing as having just been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth." (Rev. 5:6b)

The eyes of God run through the earth seeking those whose hearts are cooperative for the will of God. Ultimately in Revelation they are sent forth into all the earth for bring the Redeemer to man, the Lamb, the God-man Jesus Christ, for the building up of God's living dwelling place / temple with His people on the earth.

Can you see the connection now a bit more?

The last three long posts were trying to be about the seven Spirits of God. They were triggered by Revelation 4:5.

My last three posts attempted to have as their starting point this verse -

"And out of the throne come forth lightenings and voices and thunders. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne which are the seven Spirits of God." (4:5)

See if there is anything of profit in those last three posts. If not then I'll have to try to do better. But see if you find something of profit to you in those posts.

Or of course you may contribute something else for our edification.

I think KellyJay is just trying to tell you what several other of us have been trying to tell you for years.

Your prickly response to him is again revealing of your brittle pride.

In the book of Revelation, things are revealed that cannot be known except through revelation from God. Only when we start thinking about what it means for God to be totally and completely sovereign do these things real meanings stand out.

“Worthy are you, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they ...[text shortened]... honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they existed and were created.”

PRAISE HYMN & THE GIFT MYLON W lyrics

A worthless piece of personal information:
This portion of scripture, when I read the text I hear Mylon's southern accent saying the words due to these joined songs.

Very important piece of scripture, the Lamb of God is receiving worship before the throne of God for what He did for us.

Revelation 5 English Standard Version (ESV)
5 Then I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?” 3 And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it, 4 and I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. 5 And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”

6 And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 And he went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne. 8 And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying,

“Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation,
10
and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.”

11 Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice,

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!”
13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
14 And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Do you think the people who wrote the Book of Revelation were aware of - or even well versed in - the Book of Daniel?

Are you saying that the “key to understanding” a book which is ostensibly a chaptered set of bizarre ghastly metaphors, is another book which is also a chaptered set of bizarre metaphors?

Because for a moment there I thought that you have absolutely no idea about it whatsoever, and are simply throwing out a claim which you are completely incapable of supporting in any substantive way.
