@divegeester saidFor those who reject God's forgiveness and salvation through Jesus Christ.
If the debt for all of the sins from the entire human race since the beginning of time was paid at Calvary, then what is hell for?
Jesus paid the debt, but if one refuses the gift what is God to do?
You can't keep pushing this idea of universalism in the face of the logic of God's grace, which if refused lands one squarely in the realm of judgment, which is clearly taught in scripture.
To make judgment and punishment a fairytale and a myth, or even a misinterpretation, is intellectual and spiritual folly in the extreme.
@thinkofone saidThere's no integrity in acknowledging a lie and accepting it as truth.
With the Bible being what it is, there's no choice for anyone other than to pick which parts they want to believe.
Many, like you, lack to integrity to acknowledge this fact.
I suppose you think that with "the Bible being what it is" you can toss out the verse that says, "...let God be true, but every man a liar:.."
God has preserved His Word, and not one jot or tittle will pass away. Jesus said so. That makes you a liar for saying otherwise.

Did Rahab the harlot know anything about Jesus?
So tell me about Jesus, you don't think he died for our sins?
To which Rajk replied:
"Did Rahab the harlot know anything about Jesus?"
Come on people! Does that not reveal some kind of cognitive disconnect? What possible connection is there between KJ's question posed to ToO and Rajk's answer to it?
Dissonance anyone?

In my OP I ask a simple question, I throw out a simple challenge...
The literal interpretation of Revelation tells us that Jesus, your version on Jesus, will be in hell overseeing the eternal punishment of people.
Do you deny this interpretation or not...?
@divegeester saidI can’t believe no one got a laugh from this...
Why did Santiago have to be transferred off the base...?
@divegeester saidYou can't handle the truth.

@secondson saidYour church doctrine preaches that people need to KNOW about the death and resurrection of Christ in order to be saved and to get eternal life in the Kingdom of God. You will find that there is no such doctrine preached by Christ and that there are many who are considered righteous and their eternal life is assured who do not know of Christ. Rahab the harlot is one of them. Not everyone knows about Christ and neither is it a requirement for eternal life. Clearly you have failed to understand what Jesus preached. Go fix your own cognitive disconnect issues.

@secondson saidThe word 'resurrected' means to restore to life, moron.
"The dead" are resurrected to judgment, not life. Ijit.

Too bad you never really learned how to read and understand the Bible divegeester. Probably because you never gave it much time and thought.
Romans 3:22,23
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
That Je ...[text shortened]... b] them that believe".
If one doesn't believe it, they die in their sins.
Wake up knucklehead.

@secondson saidI don't believe that "everything that exists" is credible evidence to support your specific religious beliefs.
Ones belief isn't evidence of anything. The fact that one believes is only an expression of faith.
The "evidence" is in everything that exists objectively around you.

@secondson saidDo you actually believe that the neverending agonizing physical pain would offer some relief from the feeling of hopelessness?
But in my opinion I think agonizing physical pain would be a relief from the spiritual torment of knowing that all is lost and that there is no hope left at all forever and ever.

Why did Santiago have to be transferred off the base...?
@fmf saidIt’s such utter nonsense isn’t it.

KellyJay also said earlier in the thread that the worst thing about Hell was something about knowing one is lost, rather than having your flesh burnt off of you while Jesus watched.
@rajk999 saidActually one of main the reasons Jesus came to earth as one of us was to save us our sins. The doctrine is throughout the whole Bible, not just the red letters, but you have to read the whole Bible and take it all as the Word of God. God created a very good universe that went bad fast, but God lays down His life for us by becoming a man and giving us the perfect sacrifice for our sins while we were yet sinners enemies of God. It is the love of God to reach out to us to call us unto Him because our sinful hearts are at odds with Him. While we are walking in our sinful nature (the flesh) we can never please God, He makes away. He defeated death by dying for us, He defeated Satan by allowing Satan to take His best shot, and He calls us while we were yet sinners to Him. He is love, not just loving so He will never force any to Him, if we don't want to come we don't. If we will come to Him, we will not be rejected.
