So my forces from Croatia were wiped out!

What about my landing in Anatolia?

A lot to for me to have a look at methinks.
Angora, you mean? You've grabbed it. I'm not sure how much you sent across, but you have an army of just under 200 CP remaining.

I can do that!

Yep. I only bothered to check the actual details a few turns ago; I'm rather glad I did.

You'd better make sure of the victory conditions in your other games...
Checked; MD2 goes only by gold owned. There are no "major" or "minor" nations in MD2, except when you claim victory. Majors need more territory but get more points. You can have 4 majors winning together.

I forgot to mention the poor Swedes are in full retreat as well.
Brittany a 16 gold province and a major harbor (before it was razed) fell. You might want to have a look at the forces in Burgundy and what provinces they threaten and what can be brought against them. If you think the Swedes are in "full retreat" you're badly mistaken. Your pitiful coalition is headed for complete defeat in the West; I suggest you reconsider my prior offer.

This week's Power Ratings:

1. Prussia 1
2. France 3
3. Russia 2
4. Spain 4
5. Sweden 6
6. Naples 5
7. Ottomans 7
8. Austria 8
9. Algeria 9

Eliminated: Bavaria, England

Some big battles in the east dropped Russian, Naples and Ottoman CS and HP. Big things are brewing in the West this season; a certain short, fat man who keeps a hand inside his shirt will not be pleased with this turnfile.

Not such a great turn for the Ottomans. We gained one, but lost two and now face conflict on more than one front. At least we're giving better than than we're taking, but the Russians have massed more troops which makes our task much harder. We're down, but certainly not out. Oh, perfidious Albion!

Oh yeah, those Prussian siege cannons were pretty useless. Not one hit. In this case they just made up the numbers.

That's because it was a BORDER battle, Sultan. Try to read your battle reports. They were useful enough to own the field at the end.

Considering the odds the Turko / Neapolitan forces did well, l do have large numbers at my disposal to continue the assault.

The loss of Bosnia was unexpected however.

Dyl, your time grows short.....living in our nations capital, you would be wise to think like a politician and re-consider your politics...

I sent everything in, figuring they would all meet at the same time, I was wrong in that. If I'd reinrforced, you would probably have been wiped out. But the lesson for me is about inviting a snake into my midst - and I'm betting you're the king snake.

Who knows? Will you be bringing some friends? I just need to organise the catering.

I'll have some Parisian caterers available very soon. I'll be sending a escort with them, so expect a lot of guys speaking German.

Make it a large banquet affair, entrees served before leaving in Transylvania, Wallachia, Buda and Angora. Mains served in (insert province names here) and desert in Byzantium.

None of that foreign muck, mind. Good old goat and sheep in yoghurt. As esteemed guests, you will be reserved the eyeballs.
