No, you clearly are not being honest.

The guy you are dealinf with hereis steeped in once saved always saved theology common to many baptists.

You are ignorant of this groups beliefs and their definition of terms.

Lets suppose that is so. Why would that warrant your throwing out 'typical' a few posts ago?
And which definition of which term that he used do you believe I am ignorant of?
It is typical that you go on and on about things that you are ignorant about.

You think too much of yourself and complain at me when I try to explain things to you.

As I said, typical.

I have read the parable of sower. Which of the examples given would you label as genuine faith? The last example?
" But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
See if you can work it out; I can send you a study guide if you like.

I know you are upset with me for some reason, but would you care to explain why? Every post you make to me is an insult (and usually an obviously ridiculous insult at that).
It seems to me that ever since Trump won the election, all his known supporters on this site are really pissed about something. Is that it? You didn't really want him to win?
Ah, that's what Eledar meant when he described himself to me a being a "conservative Christian".

No, by consevative christian I mean things like homosexuality is sinful and people who practice it are on a road to hell.

Those who do not recognize such sin are also on a road to hell.

You're a fundamentalist Christian then.

I was asking him for clarification. How else does one find out more about things one is ignorant about?

You think too much of yourself and complain at me when I try to explain things to you.
You rarely ever try to explain anything. Mostly you just throw insults for no apparent reason.

But you don't want to talk about "hell" do you. Shall we call hell "the cellar" to make it easier for you?

As I said I am concerned with things that have to do with what we do now.

Exactly what hell is doesn't really concern me. For those who should be concerned with hell they will find out about it eventually.

It won't be my call one way or the other.

Yes I understand your reasoning, but this is a debate forum not a lounge. In here, amongst other things, we argue about stuff that is important to individuals and how it drives their thinking and potentially their behaviour.

Eternal suffering is something you believe in and like it or not, debate it or not, you will find that for some posters (like myself), your acceptance of this erroneous awful teaching will colour everything you disscus.

Feel free to discuss topics with people who want to talk about the topic. I was jusr trying to clear up the problem in this thread...
Two people talking past each other because neither would accept the other's definition of terms.

To be upfront about our early forum relationship, I don't care if your are abortion fundie which is a good cause at least, or a snake picker-upper fundie who are mentalists. But if you say you believe in the same god I believe in, and then claim that he will torture billions of people for eternity just because they don't believe in him, then I have an issue with you over that and you not wanting to discuss it doesn't make it go away. In fact my interest is piqued as to why you want casually discard your belief in apocalyptic terror as a means express ultimate justice.

I never said I believe in your God.

I am not of the snake handler group.

I do stand for the rights of the unborn. Little ones should not have to be butchered because parents are so screwed up.
