Are you conceding that you have changed your stance relative to your lack of faith?
No, my stance has not changed with regard to my lack of faith, not in the last 15 or so years anyway.

There used to be a Hindu who posted here. He asserted that I would be reincarnated as something like a pig or a dog or a cockroach. Do you think I felt threatened by his belief?
Of course not.

But resurrection is entirely different. If you were resurrected as a pig, then you'd be a pig forever. That wouldn't be good would it?

The threat to all who deny Christ is the resurrection.

Won't that be a game changer when you learn it's true?
But you think I am "threatened" by your belief regarding eternal punishment. How is it you think a non-believer/non-Christian [I am also a non-believer with regard to Judaism, Hinduism and Islam too] can be "threatened" by 'warnings' they find non-credible?

Do you feel "threatened" if a Hindu tells you he believes you will be reincarnated as cockroach or pig? No, I don't suppose you do. Well the same goes for the "threat" of 'torment in burning flames for eternity'.

So, you accept that people do not feel threatened by threats they do not see as credible?

My terminology refers to the set of beliefs I itemized a couple of posts ago.
And your terminology doesn't square with the narrative of scripture.

The Bible knows nothing about a "torturer" God.

Hindus believe in reincarnation. If I were reincarnated as a pig, according to Hindu beliefs, I would not "be a pig forever".

Of course. There have been whole threads about it. One was started especially for you and ran to hundreds and hundreds of posts.
But now you refer to yourself as a non-believer.

Quit waffling. 🙃

You should take up the fact that sonship and KellyJay's beliefs with regards to 'torment in burning flames for eternity' "don't square with the narrative of scripture" with them and not me. Why use me as a proxy for your differing beliefs?

No faith? Surely you must have faith in something?

A cat or a dog, a parrot?

Yes, as in a non-Christian. I have been referring to myself this way here for over ten years.

I don't share your Christian faith.

But sonship and KellyJay 'preach' the beliefs I listed on the previous page.

Well, I think you better reexamine the evidence for the truth of the resurrection.

It amazes me how anyone can miss the credible evidence for the veracity of the Bible.

You making these two assertions does not create something that I feel "threatened" by.

Isn't it a capital crime in Indonesia for being an atheist?

Just kidding.
