I am not a Christian robbie. I preach no supposed revelation of God or claim to have exclusive knowledge of supernatural beings. What questions am i supposed to answer about such things? I am a non-Christian. I have no ideology to speak on behalf of... no ideolgy about "divine" beings or an "afterlife". That's sonship's thing. That's your thing.

yes we are rather bereft of this former life of his as an alleged Christian. His knowledge of scripture is so devoid that I have trouble believing the testimony. I wonder how he was nourishing his faith? how he was exercising his faith. How he was walking with the Christ.

Why don't you stop projecting your suspicions? They are most likely the strivings of your own deceptive soul. And this is not some deep psychoanalysis here. Your suspicions tell more about your fraudulent and sensational attempt to cheat other people.

I am making absolutely no claims about my knowledge of scripture or about how I sustained or exercised my beliefs in the past. I am a non-Christian.

This question requires is a simply yes or no answer - you can qualify your response of course. But you refuse to give an answer, and why is that...because the answer is "yes".

You asked me "what strange beliefs?". I'm just helping you to see them.

So we're on the matter of the Trinity - the three-one God (without distraction).

Anyone breaking their arm patting themselves on the back that they have asked and re-asked some supposed doosey of a hard question may continue to do so.

Salvation and its requirements is not the subject of debate in this thread. The three-one nature of God is the subject.

So if we apply a yes or no test to this matter, I would have to say YES to certain revelations in the Bible.

When God says in Genesis 1:26 - "Let Us make man in Our image ..." is He talking about the Trinity ?
Answer: I think I have to say YES. This is mysterious. Christ is said to be the image of the invisible God.

" [Christ] Who is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of all creation..." (Col. 1:15)

In the council of the Godhead the decision was made that man would be made according to Christ, as corresponding to what Christ is. Though God says "Let Us make man ..." in verse 26, it says God made man in "His own image" and not in "THEIR" own image.

And Psalm 86:10 says He is God "alone" -

"For You are great, and You do wondrous deeds; You alone are God."

Nehemiah 9:6 also says He is God "alone" -

"You are Jehovah, You alone; You have made heaven, the heaven of heavens with all its hosts ..."

God alone had a council and said "Let Us make man in Our image ..." . Then it says it says He created man in His own image ..."

" And God created man
in His own image; in the image of God He created him ..."

I do not say I understand everything about this. But it indicates to me that God is way, way, WAY ahead of us in terms of doing things for a PURPOSE. He is not a God of many miscellaneous disjoint curiosities. He created the universe and man with an eternal purpose in mind. And for that purpose He is three-one. He has been three-one for all eternity.
