This is what should happen to those whose names are not recorded in the book of life.

"And if anyone was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:15)

And here is what should happen to those who are ashamed of Jesus and His words when He comes.

"For whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." (Mark 9:38; comp Luke 9:26; )

The specific details of these matters I leave fully up to God's wisdom. But these are the righteous things that should happen.

They are right, holy, and just actions of Jesus Christ.

What makes your personal interpretation of scripture free from “passing judgement on scripture”?

I am not sure what you believe.

But I cannot spend much time here now.

Fire completely destroys things ~ annihilates them ~ doesn't it?

Yeah but thats not nice .. because then they wont get to sit and watch people suffer.
They want a doctrine that enables them to enjoy the show.
Therefore the fire does not destroy it torments.

I don’t attempt to change it to suit my likes and dislikes.

Both of those statements are absolutely fine for the purposes of dodging the key questions arising in this thread.

1) is it morally right to burn someone alive for eternity? Yes or no.

2) how do you decide which parts of the book of Revelation are literal and which are symbolic.

Meanwhile you hang on to your beloved horrible doctrines with all your might.

1) No.

2) Any parts that contradict the love Jesus has for us, and desires ALL to be redeemed. Jesus came to save the world, and He did so.

You mean we can go out and rob, steal, abuse people and we get to enjoy the same salvation those who gave their lives to Christ, even though we despise everything people call good now? MS13 with its muder and rape culture is no different than someone who laid down His life to share the gospel?

Why would anyone share that since hearing about it or not carry the same weight of salvation?

The thing we fail to recognize most of the time is that God loves the people that we hate, and it baffles us.

In the story of Jonah, he was put into the 'large fish' because he refused to listen to God.
God wanted Jonah to preach to the people that Jonah himself despised, and he paid for his rebellion.

Apparently, God loves everyone, not just the ones we deem lovable.
